Heading out tomorrow after work for a weekend of camping in Altoona Pa. I collect old Serro Scotty campers and we have a club. members of the NE chapter will be camping this weekend. We will be using the 1968 15' Hilander. I have a 1962 13 foot silverside (polished aluminum) I cant even stand up in. Its like a teardrop. Also have a 1964 hilander. These are rare (the '64) as this was the first yearfor the Hilander and in '65 they changed the design. It needs a total restoration. The campground we are going to is to have wi-fi so, I should be able to check in. It should be interesting as the grounds are full since the Boy Scouts are haveing a campout there. It will also be our first time out with Shelby, our new pup. Should be interesting. These campers may be small but they are cozy. All I need is a place to sleep and get out of the rain. I dont know about you but, when I go camping I dont sit in the camper all day.

WOW how times have changed. Campgrounds with Wi-fi :cool: Have loads of fun. Watch out for those pesky blood sucking bugs. LOL :D

Its supposed to rain this weekend so I dont know how many will show. Altoona is pretty far away from Griff. I will ask where they are from and see... you never know. Would be cool to meet him there.

Well here we are sitting by the campfire. connection isnt so good so iI may not be able to post pics. Scouts are here but not Griffs group. It rained all night amnd most of the day but we are still having a good time. Shelby has been mostly good. As watches go I am wearing the G shock.
