I now have the final info on the completion of the Megalodon 2 and the timing is going to work out just right.

Ralf will be heading to the factory the first week of August for final inspections.

I will be visiting family in Eagle/Vail, Colorado until August 10th.

The watches will be shipped to me and hopefully arrive on the 11th.

I will need to do my own inspecting and testing, as well as send out final invoices for payment before shipping.

Hi Steve.

Thanks for keeping us informed.

Can't wait.

I am ready to transfer the full amount when you are ready.

Apologies for not taking you up on the $50 discount. I worked out the exchange rate here in NZ at that time was not favourable enough to make it worth my while.

Dave B.

Thanks mate.
Thought I was the only owner of a 20,000ft in NZ. Apparently not looking at your details.
Orginally I thought of the carbon version but with my diving I found it difficult to read the dial as clearly as i could the yellow.
Through what channels did you purchase yours?

Hi Mate. Thanks for the reply. Looks like you are right about the CF. It seems a bit harder to read but my 52 year old eyes might be the blame more than the dial itselfsubtlelaugh.gif.

I bought my SMW straight from an AD (Gnomon Watches) in Singapore about a day after he received his shipment and designation as an AD.

It's an eeriely accurate monster, right?

Hi. I tried to get one through a dealer in AUS but they had never had one, plus they quoted me more than the Euro retail.
I eventually emailed Charmex and ended up chatting with a guy called Frank.
We sorted a great deal between us.

I soon found out that I was actually dealing with the CO of the company Frank Burgen.
As Frank said to me after the deal was completed.
I am very happy to deal direct as the 20,000ft is my personal project.

Mine is running at 1.5 secs gain after 4 days.

Hi Mate. It's not every day you get to talk to the CEO. Wow!

Mine is running fine at about 1 second slow every 2 or 3 days. Eeriely accurate.....COSC, of course.

Give your SMW about 6 months of regular use and you'll get more accuracy and a more stable reading by then.

I'm sure you know this but when you store it at night, keep it on your bedside table with the crown facing up/ceiling. After a few days, you may see some improvements. It's not easy to open the back to attempt a regulation.subtlelaugh.gif

Cheers!
