The Guage as Helson is calling it is a unique watch and I would like to own one but not sure I'm ready to let go of $1699. to do so....that kind of coin can but a lot of watch off the sales forums imo....we'll see depending on how many will be produced and that may sway me...

I agree, too many nice babies around for this price tag...Even some inhouse pieces.

Bad luck Rolf: I'm feeling better and it seems like I will die another day , so you can forget the 1500 co-axial as my wrist isn't cold yet I can understand that the specialy cut sapphire crystal for this model pushes the price up but I would have expected something more in the 1200$ range... Well, I will survive the miss of this watch...

Well, Peter was kind enough to email me a reply and mentioned that only 20 were made. He really planned only 1 but some of his buddies pressed him to make some more. I'm really liking the watch especially since it looks so collectible and certainly so simple and unique in a league of its own. But.....I'm saving up for something on my radar....but if the price were a bit lower, I guess I'd crumble and shoot it down. Love that Gauge!!!

Hopefully some of those 20 will end up in the hands of some 3T WIS, so that we can see some nice wrist shots in the future. Eventhoug not for me, will be interesting to see how it looks in real life.

A bit steep and to have to foot the full price next month... a bit high for a timepiece that would sit in my display case most of the time..

Good news for all who got in on this unique diver...25 total and not to be seen again in this configuration (which I was glad to hear)...possibly a smaller version 13-14mm height in the future. ...The Gauge arrives on Friday the 11th and shipping will start that day or Saturday!....should be some BIG watch imho!

i know bathys isnt loved here, but i love the UNITAS movement, and was awating the bomb timer model because its throw-back qualities. then i saw the price and decided to pass.
