William, I really feel for you and this crapy situation... I saw this thread this morning and yes, as said Oscar, with the time difference, all of this happened when everybody's sleeping in Norway so that's why I'm just arriving on that since I 'm just arrived home from the job.
Yes, I had contact and a tip-top transaction with Ronny. I must say that I'm very surprised by all of that.
Please, don't draw too fast conclusions: Right now there's way too much feelings who get involved and it don't help the situation.
I will personally talk with Ronny soon and you'll get help from Rolf and me through this process: As much as we can, to avoid misunderstandings...
Time will show buddy, that's all I can say right now before I get more facts in hand.
Will

both William and Ronny have been good customers of Benarus. Ronny has purchased the Sea Devil and Megalodon 2 in the past and William has been a good customer purchasing a few watches from us.

An FYI on shipping: On our international shipments, we have the watches securely packed in the Benarus boxes that are inside the shipping box, we use brand new sturdy shipping boxes and on the customs forms I use the term "Timing instrument"... never the word "watch".

Well he finaly pm'd me @ WUS & he has to go to a childrens  party 1st, then he will try & deal w/ this situation..His words....

WOW- IMO THIS SHOULD BE HIS 1ST PRIORTY....1ST & FOREMOST.

& this is y I posted all this stuff on him, these r the kind of replies I've gotten from him since I wired the $$$..

William,

I can definately feel your pain(most of it anyways). Right now, your #1 priority is the situation posted. The seller's priority right now is his little kid which could be his special birthday, etc. The seller can't do anything right now anyways since he is probably waiting for some responses from the postal institution so why miss your precious kid's party in the meantime?....They are only (at a young age) once.

Let's all wait for the facts and this should be a smooth ride from there.

Good luck.

Oscar heres the sipping weight you asked for

This is the shipping weight that was associated w/ the mailing from Norway

http://sporing.posten.no/sporing.html?q=+CD307160040NO=

Details
Package Number: CD307160040NO
Shipment Number: 70300490500176990
Number of Packages: 1
Product Name: CARRYON CASH
Weight: 1.4 kg
Measurements: 29x25x17 cm (LxWxH)

Weight by Volume: 3 kg

I just went down to the post office again & they gave me the postal police # & I can't do anything, the sender has to initiate the investigation on his end bcuz it was a international deal.
I also got the package weighed while I was their,it weights 3lbs 2.10 ounces, which according to the net conversion is the same as the kg

Any thief at the customs with a weigher could have put tiles right back to the exact weight: 1,4kg just to get the package going on without suspicion...
I'm not trying to save Ronny but he only used green tape from what he said. Glass-fiber reinforced tape was used around the tiles and over the package after opening: Same tape on both.
Make me think that even Ronny could have access to this glass-fiber tape: Why would he close the package with green tape, open it again with a knife, set tiles with glass-fiber tape around with a little watch, then repack the whole stuff with the same glass-fiber tape for then posting it to the USA?
Smells to me like someone had fun with this package on the postal services.

And for those who think that's it's smart to declare full value on the package: YEAH! Write "ROLEX value 10000$" on your package and you can be damn sure that it will NEVER arrive if any poor average Joe set his eyes on it in the post services!
This done, when you claim the sum, the postal services will tire you with 5000 procedures, 5000 rejects and 5000 days of delays before they even considerate to give you back half of this money!
So you better get a lawyer who's bad to the bone on them back if you want a refund over 1000$.
No thieves go for a "Defectuous watch 25$" , he take the Rolex: What do you believe? I guess this guy was expecting a little Seiko and he hooked the jackpot , sadly for William.
Packages never "disappears" they are stolen: Postal services a full of thieves, specially when times become hard in the country.
Period.

I agree Will I have no clue why he put such a value in writing on the package or why he would put watch & acessories  on the box. That was dumb.

I have to say, with a product name of "carryon cash" it's gonna get the attention of the first crook in the shipping chain..

I hope it gets resolved in your favor..The good news is you have William and Rolf in the country to help you from their end.

What kind of value did Ronny declare?

First, regardless of what one thinks of Willams way of dealing with this, I think we all can understand his frustration, and I for one have no problem being sympathetic with him in this.

That being said, I have been a kind of a middle-man more or less from the get go on this whole mess, and have talked to William as well as ronnanol from the time William sent the money (as I found out he is a member of the same Norwegian forum as me) And William is right, ronnanol wasn`t super quick to reply to his e-mails, but he did reply quite quickly to my PM´s. And from what I can remember, it was aprox three days from the money was sent by William until he replied back, and then two more days before the package was shipped. There is a 6h time difference between Norway and the states, but I for one would make it my number one priority to send the watch as soon as I possibly could, at least when there is this amount of $$ involved. And also kept the correspondence the whole time.

With this being said, from what I can tell from the PM´s sent to me from ronnanol, I for one don´t think he has tried to scam William. Rather I think, as several others here suggests, that there is a A-hole somewhere in the postal service wearing a PAM instead of the crappy watch William received. Hammerfjord/William makes a good point imo regarding the fact that there is a difference with the package ronnanol sent, and the package William received. Why would a scam artist even send anything? And not just collect the money, and go underground?
And, for what it´s worth William, what´s in your best interest here is to try to solve this whole ordeal with ronnanol, and maybe even get your money back, at least some of it (fingers crossed that the claim ronnanol is making is approved) And I´m just trying to look out for you here brotha, hope you know that.
But again, I don´t think he´s scamming you, rather than both of you have been had here.
I will do whatever you want IOT help here buddy, and I´m continuing to PM ronnanol (and he´s replying) And last I asked if he would consider calling you so that you could talk this over, and see what can be done. But I think this may be a bit counterproductive continuing to call him a scam artist until things are in the open. Just my 2 cents ...

But I feel for you BIG time here buddy, and hope there is some light in the end of the tunnel somewhere.
