I don't understand the dislike of the Miyota. It's a good time keeper (more accurate than lower end Seiko and ETA in my experience), runs forever with minimal attention, and if it does die on you it's cheap enough to just drop in a new one.

I don't think there is a real dislike of Myota, as long as the price point is in line with a less expensive movement. That said; there are those who shy away from it. Different strokes, etc.etc.

I agree completely, 45-48mm is great, it offers a great size presence on the wrist without being overbearing.

yes, the Megalodon is 49mm. our next watch will be 42mm.

I want to make another watch in the future that is 48 or 49mm and a different design than the Megalodon.

I am planning to post drawings of the 42mm soon.

Dang 42mm is way to small for my wrist. This will leave a lot of bigger wristed guys out on this buy but I can understand the smaller wristed guys want something that isn't flavor flav like on their wrist also.  I can live with a 44-49mm diver on my 8 1/4" wrist but anything smaller just doesn't cut it.

I have the same size wrists and prefer 39mm without bezel to 42mm with bezel. I like upto 45mm if the lug to lug isn't too large.

42mm case is small enough for us.

it will have a 42mm case and 22mm lugs for a 22mm bracelet and straps.
