I just recieved my "9937"Invicta watch back from Invicta in hollywood florida. This is the third time this watch has been serviced by them for the same thing! Bezel keeps popping off. Anyways- last time I recieved the watch back, it came back in a different box then  i sent it in. I know because I keep all my stuff CLEAN. The box was dirty with scuff marks. So this time I sent it, I marked the box in two different places to make sure That it was mine not someone else's. Well I recieved the watch with NO BOX!!!!!! It was wrapped between two yellow pieces of foam in a CARDBOARD BOX!!! What happened to customer service? Wher the he!! is my box? I will never, I mean never buy an INVICTA WATCH again!!! That is it Im done with them. I am seriously thinking about selling my 9937 with wood box it came in to fund for a orsa!!! Thanks for letting me vent.

Does Invicta require you to send the watch in using their (you're box)? I can't remember.

I too have had a watch come back from Invicta quite dirty. It also had to go back as they didn't fix it. It was one of my wife's Angel's.

I don't believe they require it. It just makes it easy for me to pack/ship it that way. I wouldn't want it shipped just in a small box with plastic/paper wrapped around it. I am just surprised that they kept it. When I originally purchased this watch it came in a nice big rose wood box with a glass dome. Thats why I am surprised they shipped it back to me the way they did.

For future shipping to service (Invicta or otherwise), I don't recommend using your supplied box unless the manufacturer requires it.

The chance of you not getting it back are pretty high. I was in the home electronics business for many years and walk-in repair departments would usually request that you keep your box or take it back with you. They simply couldn't (or wouldn't) keep track of  all the boxes. Once it is out-of-box and waiting for parts, they now have to store the box somewhere.

When you send in most electronic gear to a manufacturer's department, they will usually send it back in a plain brown box and not the original. They often pitch your box right away. Again, it is a storage issue in many cases.

Obviously, watch boxes are smaller. But, then so are the service areas for watches. So to keep your nice Yellow Invicta box, I suggest never sending it to them. Use something else. I also take the strap and the bracelet off any watch I send in. I just send the head and nothing else.

Sorry to hear that, especially if it were the big wooden box.  Ive contacted them before on sending a watch in for service, they told me in big letters "DO NOT send in the original box".  They should probably put that somewhere on the warranty card/manual, but it is on the website:
Also note the following:
Include a Copy of your warranty card showing the date of your purchase.Include a Copy of your purchase invoice with the date on it.Include a money order issued to Invicta Service Center for the amount of $20.00(for S&H).Include a note describing the malfunction.Include a return address and daytime telephone number.Be sure to insure the watch with the shipper. If your watch is not cover under INVICTA warranty, you will be charged for the repair cost.We warrant each repair for one year. The warranty applies to that repair only.Prices do not include sales tax. Please do not include your Gift Box when sending in your watch for service. It will not be returned.Failure to make prior payment arrangements (money order, check or credit card) will result in your item being sent back COD.

>>I'm not saying a Thing ....

O.,
I have sent watches back to a number of places for repair such as Overstock.com, SWI, Croton, Invicta, Seiko, etc. They almost always tell you not include to the box.

I have no love for Invicta's crappy service. So, just send what is required for the repair. Nothing else.

Back to your original statement..................THEY SUCK!  I won't ever buy a watch from them again, either!  I haven't bought a new Invicta for over 1 1/2 years and will not do so no matter what movement or pricepoint.  It is simply not worth the risk.  Plus, who want to deal with an outfit fronted by a known con artist?

I have, in that time frame, bought 2 of their old classics, an Executive and a 2015, but those were preowned from guys I know and respect, Oscar and TonyD!

Mike...I'm well aware of warranty procedures as are many WIS but there are newbies who may not have this knowledge...so it wasn't Daves fault that he decided to send in his Invicta/Yellow box(POC if you ask me )... as Monster pointed out there is nothing in writing on the warranty card you receive with Invicta purchases and not everyone is aware it is written on their website...1st I have heard of this...but as a Company Invicta should take care of any situation that may arise and mark all incoming  Warranty repairs accordingly!.. this is called Customer Service...which We WIS are well aware that doesn't exist at Invicta...if Quality Control were better than there would be less of a need to send any Invicta in I read a CS story on another forum regarding Sthurling...Watch was sent in without the Box but was returned not only repaired with a quick turnaround time but in a New Box....I'm just tired of hearing excuse after excuse about Invicta who doesn't give a Rats A$$ about it's Customers and only of the bottom line...and that is Profit ...Nuff Said I will buy a pre-owned Invicta if it is from the very 1st run ever produced and the price is right however...so I may be a bit of a Hypocrite :D I have also taken many in trade to get another Timepiece of interest to me...fact is every other Year or so a new group of Invictaphiles emerge and owning some of the harder to find Invictas that are proven through extended ownership or stil NIB (and still working)as many of mine are have some value in the resale and trade areas...but fact is Invicta will never be the Company they started out to be that we all fell in love with many years ago...I am passing on what my WIS mentors tried to pound into my head over and over...and it finally sunk in The further I get from Invicta and Slop the more appealing my collection is to me and most of all No More CS issues hand6.gifhand6.gif..just my dollars worth >>I'm not saying a Thing ....
