I understand Pax...and I more than understand what went on at WUS...I got demoded because of it:P The customs # is trackable just not all Post offices will take the time to do the tracehand6.gif I will take this # if you don't mind and run it by a friend who is a postmaster and see if he can trace it:) but in the meantime without the needed proof in the form of a registered or tracking # you are kinda in a situation where it is your word against his and it is a shame that non involved parties are chiming in:( let's get some facts and stay cool and let this serve as a lesson to everyone when dealing overseas or with someone that you don't know and that is to cover your a$$ with whatever precautions are available in the form of insurance or sig proof and if they don't like it too bad...I even take pics of all my paperwork and the package as backup..it's unfortunate but the P.O isn't always up to snuff either:D

Knock yourself out. I sincerely appreciiate the help. The USPS wasn't able to provided tracking on any of the #'s over the phone. The one thing that gets missed in al this is that the watch was misrepresented from the beginning. Had the seller been truthful regarding the watch's condtion... I would never have bit!! Believe me... lesson learned.. several lessons in fact!!

This has triggered memories of my own reason for absenting myself from WUS for 8 months (when I looked it wasn't 6). Honestly, I do see it as a real pattern over there with favoritism. I also realize that WUS is Ernie's property - my beef is that he uses it for profit but doesn't apparently respect that sometimes others opinions are just as entitled to an airing as those of his anointed few. -Robert

Gaspar wrote:Bwahahahahahahah!Doc...this forum and several others are a result of the same feelings you have experienced and well notedhand6.gif I was thinking of posting my incoming Zeno Army Diver on the Doxa forum, whadda ya think??:P Seriously though, WUS was my intro to watch collecting, where I was mainly on the Russian forum (and met Robert hand6.gif) and the Affordables where I met most of the rest of you guys hand6.gif I have noticed an extreme intolerance on the Dive Forum, to the point where I don't bother to post any more (and I used to dive before I messed up my back, unlike most of the guys there). Occasionally there is the same type of elitist behavior on the Russian forum, all European members who think anyone who doesn't collect vintage Soviet pieces is a newbie jerk. I still post on the Affordables forum though. I am sorry to hear about your difficulty Pax, that stinks, I hope it works out for you. I had noticed your post on the Bad Guys forum awhile ago, and I was going to post one about a Russian seller and noticed that the whole Bad Guys forum was removed. What's with that? Maybe Ernie got a legal complaint about it, hmmmmm. Now if I can just get a set of hands for my Poljot Aviator from Rugift... Regards, Griff
