Hi All, I'm new to the forum after seeing a few pics of the Mega and how obsessed with how good and solid this watch looks...it's looks a beast, and I really want one. One big problem is I have tiny wrists....about 6.5 inch and worried that size of it will just eat me up. Does any owners out there also have small wrists and does it look OK....wrist pics would be very much appreciated so i can gauge how it looks.... Cheers,

The watch sits great on the wrist...will work on 6.5 if you like your watches big

Kandyman, I have 6,75 inch wrists and large watches are no problem for me. It's just a matter of getting used to it like shifting from 4 cylinder car to a V8 SUV. Nothin' to it. I have something thicker and bigger than a Mega2 and I have no issues. On the first pic below, there's an optical illusion of size because the watch is closer to the lens than the wrist. Maybe the second pic is a better representation. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited on Sat Jul 17th, 2010 10:26 pm by bigrustypig |

The all question is how is made your wrist. If you have a wide but not so thick wrist, you will wear better a big watch than someone who have a thick and not so wide wrist, for the same perimeter... I have only a 7.5 inch wrist but wider than thick: 63mm X 47mm (2.5'' X 1.9''). The fact that my wrist is 63mm wide, gives me opportunity to big watches. Here's my Mega and my absolute limit: The 60mm Egiziano homage ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have 6.5" wrists and I think it has a somewhat flat profile, so I seem to be able to wear large watches. However, even though I regularly wear 44mm~46mm watches such as the Benarus Moray (44mm), Breitling Airwolf (43.5mm), Seiko Ananta (46mm), and recently a PAM312 (44mm), I felt the Megalodon was just a bit too big for me and ended up selling it. To me the Moray and even the PAM312, which is 18mm thick, feels much smaller than the Megalodon. I think the Megalodon is doable for a 6.5" wrist, but you will have to get used to wearing it and be committed to wearing a watch at this size. Here are a couple of pics of the Megalodon on my wrist: ![]() ![]()

William, of all your watches this has to be among my top 5 favorites. Really like that Egiziano look and feel ![]()

But then again, it's a personal preference, of course. ![]()

Guys, Thanks so much for the pics and advise....the mega is a lovely watch...but unforunately I don't think I can pull one off. Just had a measure of my wrists and they are 6inch :(.....and pretty sure the lugs will over hang which imho makes a watch/wearer a little silly. Looks like I just need to admire the Mega from afar...:(

Thanks Jeff! Well, Nick, the wideness of the wrist reflect the size of the skeleton and bone's thickness. After that, the thickness of the wrist is influenced by the body-mass. All in all, if you are a little height man without overweight, you need to have really big bones to fit a big diameter watch: Usual training will be of very little help as there's nearly no muscle mass in the joint...
